Not sure if this is flouting.
as far as i know, cops are allowed to take decision (overriding all traffic guidelines) based on traffic conditions in order to ease it.

I respect the rules to a great extent. But at some signal points (like the one at little mount - signal for the Halda - Saidapet traffic), no one stops for the red, and If I respect the rules and stop for the green to come on, people will start honking at my back. I could not understand why at all signal systems are installed at such places, when it is not meant to be followed.

Well, Jumping red lights??? Never. Always stop within the stop line.

Seatbelts Use always when I want to do some spirited driving, maybe maybe not when going just nearby at a very sedate pace.

Tints, My car has tints permitted by law.

cell phone, I may be retarded but I just can't use me cell while driving.

Speed, I do when the road conditions permit, and my mood is willing.

More people than regulated capacity. Yes some times when our whole gang want to enjoy.

Hey, on the Outer Ring Road there is NO choice. There are buses and extremely slow moving trucks on the right lane, so there is, I repeat, NO choice but to overtake from the left.... I really dont think that this is flouting rules. If the buses and slow moving trucks and other vehicles moved in the left lane, then we would be able to reach in time and safely. it is really the trucks that are flouting rules by blocking the right lanes and other vehicles who dont move to an inner lane to permit faster moving vehicles to overtake safely from the right side.

I am in Europe now (have been for 1 month and will be here for another), i find that the roads here are not very wide at all but everyone follows rules, ofcourse there are no slow moving trucks on the city roads

I can only see BMWs, Mercedes' and also a couple of Maseratis.... really nice; the air is clean and crisp (as compared to dusty in India) and one can really breathe. There are bicycle lanes, clearly marked, the roads too have clear markings for the correct turns and very well lit through-out the night too.

Ohhhhhh So many rules cant follow all... so here is my style

Red light juming :- Always (when there is no heavy traffice and a way to vrrooomm)

Cellphone :- Cant help have to answer the calls and cant stop for all the calls.

Tinted Windows :- I had jet black in my 800, i dont like people peeping in..

Speeding :- Daily but mostly when i m on bike but with my car, somtimes

Seat belts :- Sometimes when i m feeling uncomfy.

Overtaking from left :- Its no no, only when there is no traffic

But still i drive very safely but i am really bad when it comes to bikes.....
