There are certain mistakes which cannot be called back after you commit them, driving without insurance is not only playing with your lives but also of others on the road.

I'm not condoning driving without insurance. I was just saying blanket statements questioning the owners responsibility is uncalled for, especially in view of the situation.

One sees several fatal bike accidents because of aggressive riding and lack of adequate protection/in appropriate sizing of gear. Avoidable loss, but the lesson is to take away is to ensure that such mistakes aren't made, not to pass judgement on the parties involved.
