In fact I always wondered how nice it would be if I had potholes information too on the Google maps so while navigating unknown roads, the maps would warn me of upcoming pothole and also inform whether to navigate from left/right or completly come to a crawling speed. Same wish I had for the monstrous speed breakers.

May be Google can think of adding this as a feature after this news from Bangalore.

Especially the one with the man-hole cover. Most contractors/engineers would agree that's the only way to put a man-hole cover, saying: "how else should it be done?! "

Superb way of releasing frustration as it is not going to change things much. The problem is lack of accountability and this is not going to fix it.

It will make google maps unusable as there are too many potholes on Indian roads irrespective of which part of country you are in.
