Miss those Mumbai days seeing number plates like Sai, Anna, Sharad, Raj, Aai...

Can't find such samples in Chennai or most of TN and Kerala.

Was following this bus, and appeared something is not right. On close inspection, found this to be one of the rare bus to have a proper number plate that too a HSRP one!

I am getting to see some really weird plates offlate:

'SIJO' a somewhat popular name in some locales of Kerala.

I wonder what message in whatever language this person is trying to convey.

Last week on her way to work in SFO, my cousin spotted this and sent it to me. Hope it qualifies to be showcased here.

If legit (it appears to be), that's a sweet one. An ingenious way of remembering and paying tribute to one's roots. Plus, the added satisfaction of doing something that can only be done away from home!

Saw this police bike in Kolkata, do you notice anything wrong with the number plate?

Sorry about the quality of the mobile snap, the bike was parked at a distance and I didn't want the cop to take notice of me clicking :)

P.S was on the phone most for most of the time.

I just don't understand the craze for such words/phrases we Indians have and the reason to put it on cars.
