Oh yes. Little did I think he may have multiple plates.

Looks like he took inspiration from the "RE Signals" but if you are from the generation of black number plates you will know that this was a common practice back in the day.

Pramod

Last evening I was leaving office and in front of me was this INDIAN MOTORCYCLE SCOUT with the registration KA-05-KA0505. Was not able to capture a snap however found this number quite catchy! Must be a hardcore fan of JAYANAGAR clap:

Another Boss.

Why people are so desperate to look different/better than others?

I Snapped this a couple of minutes ago in Santa Clara, California.

This one's dedicated to all the Banglore folks settled in Santa Clara.

P.s. notice the border of the frame.

The driver of this baleno was driving like a maniac and squeezed between another car and mine and kept snaking his way through. Now, with this number plate, how does one figure?

Nothing wrong in this one - except that it does not have the HSRP.

In Delhi, you actually have this as the numbering scheme DL NN C/S XX ZZZZ
(NN being the district / equivalent number) C / S (C for cars, S for 2 wheelers) followed by a XX (Series) and ZZZZ being the numbers from 0000 to 9999.

The right way of writing the number though would be DL03C CE 6044

No. The right way of writing the number on HSRPs is DL3CCE6044. Sometimes, spaces can be here or there but no need to write "0" before 3C. Being from Delhi/NCR and as a DL car owner, I can say that confidently. :)

A rare car in and around my place. But the number plate isn't that rare!

Guess the number!
Clicked on NH17 near Mahad

Took this on NH8 in rajasthan near Ajmer

The extents to which supercar/luxury car owners go to customise number plates is beyond me. The 5 was captured a week back and the lambo, about a year and a half back.

I have seen a few cars like this in Chennai. I don't understand why the traffic cops don't do anything about it. Last I saw was a riced out polo, with 'RAJA' as number plates.

I think I need a guide to decipher that. :Shockked:

Below is an example of the number which was auctioned in my hometown few years back. The guy bought it at a premium for his Honda Jazz and got number plates written as 'A KISS'. It took just about a week or two for the cops to catch him and he was forced to change it to normal font.
In Kerala, the cops are pretty strict and you can't get away with these.
