Before taking a U turn or any other turn we need to watch for, estimate the speed/ time and commit to a turn. Do we want to get involved in an accident even if it is the other guy's mistake.

It does not matter if a bus/ truck fellow starts to turn without seeing oncoming traffic. We see all these folks hurrying us to a sudden halt.

BTW, I never said the guy is right or wrong for going fast. Have you never driven over speed limit while going straight. Thats the case most of the time.

He may not hear you if his glasses are up with a/c on. You may end up adding to sound pollution, frayed nerves (and (hopefully not - dents). Flashing the headlights are, IMHO a better option.
