We do have guidelines that how much height the speed breakers should have and how much broader it should be. But it is never followed.

Just imagine the ill designed speed brakers in a unlit street, they cause more havoc than what they are supposed to do.

I have also seen same in my office. It is a pain. But may be save some life from CAB drivers and water tank lorries

I have seen these guys in SUV and trucks just fly over speed breakers.

I'm wondering why Bangalore is having more no of speedbreakers when compared to other cities ?

Any specific reason ?

Thats because no one bothers to stop them, and also no check on how the speedbreakers are constructed.
