Last evening I was on Garuda Mall to meet some outstation friends for dinner. Being a weekday, getting a parking slot was pretty easy. Got a parking slot next to driveway. I've a Skoda on my right and clear driveway on my left. After that cars are parked perpendicular to mine. Some red car from there reversed and did this to my car...:Frustrati
I'm sending the car to Sundaram today for an estimate.
I would also like to know from you guys as where I can get a good body job done? I don't mind giving it outside provided the fit and finish is GOOD. As some of you know that
I'm fussy about this.

Really sad. Garuda Mall parking is terribly designed to say the least. Parking stalls are ridiculously small and narrow if you are in anything bigger than a hatchback. This is the root cause of incidents like this. Once a car nearly rear ended me at one of those blind turns :Frustrati
Sad to see that. Even my parked car was brushed sometime back at Garuda Mall by someone who had parked his Santro adjacent to mine. Luckily the damage was not bad except for a few scratches.
More than space constraints at parking lots, I would blame it on the utter carelessness and scant driving skills that some have.
Feeling Really Sad to see this Rudra.
Get an estimate from Ahmed Jaan on Ulsoor/Dickenson Road. Have heard he takes a little longer than normal, but his work is impeccable. I have seen many exotic cars there. Infact even yesterday, while passing past his workshop, I saw an E-Class Merc which had come there for some body-work and paint touch-up.
:Frustrati when such things happen to us with no fault of ours. Atleast the *%$## should have the decency, to owe up to the fault!
I am sorry to see this unnecessary loss Rudra. Sad that it had to happen to your beloved Optra.

I didn't. But what can they do? Every single paid parking area is decorated with a notice saying
management is not responsible for any theft or damage.

Did you park in the basement or the multistory. I recommend that you always park in the basement of Garuda.

Where is this shop exactly? A small direction would help.
Ouch !! Looking at the photos makes me wince - I mean the guy could have atleast owned up !
Getting the crease line back proper will be difficult, but it can be done by an expert.
