I just got to know from my wife that the Infy buses are still held up within their campus owing to this. The buses were supposed to start at 5:30PM, but as of 5:50, the were still waiting.

Thanks for the update, Vid.

Colleagues travelling back home by the route buses are caught up on the Hosur Road still it seems....

And Mr.Bean, the flyover is seemingly complete but awaiting the alignment of the stars for it to be opened for traffic...

Wooho, my 100th post!

Infy's 6:15 buses, it seems are running more than half-an-hour late. Some accident and the furious locals blocked the road, that's what I heard.

Thank god, I left office at 4.30PM. Traffic jam on Hosur road is the one thing I used to hate

The road is clearing up now. Although from hosur road one still cannot turn into Hosa road/Haralur road central jail road.

The jam was due to some murder which took place yesterday night. The locals found the body and informed the police but the police refused to file an FIR for the murder.

As a protest the locals blocked all lanes of Hosur road and put the body of the murdered in the middle of the road.

My wife's bus from Infy which was to start at 5:30 finally left around 5:55 PM, and she reached Marathalli by 7:35 PM.

Bus which usually takes the Jail road was forced to come by Hosur road.

Oh! Hosur road strikes again. Why do these things always happen when it is the peak traffic time. Any update on whether the traffic is cleared or not?

You replied at 7:29PM saying your wife reached at 7:35. Just joking.

My colleagues report that the traffic is still moving snail pace.

Ben, Where do you stay? I stay in Maratha Halli right in front of Purva Apts, we can catch up and say hello if you stay nearby sometime.

My cab left @ 5PM from ECity. 515'ish got stuck outside BMW showroom. Waited (literally JAMMED) from all sides till 545.

Then the motorists all got impatient, did something typically expected from them. BROKE open a few of the Steel Dividers and took a Uturn from service road onto main road and drove into NICE road.

After a hellish 2 hours, reached home @ BTM layout - which normally takes 45 mins MAX.

Psst Psst - Guess who had the last laugh...

So the breakings on the nicely laid new road has begun. I was just thinking the other day how this road will be without any of the steel dividers in a few years time and already it has begun!
