What do you do when stuck in a traffic jam?

The vehicles ahead aren't moving an inch. The ones on the sides are gathering moss too. No chance of any movement for the next 5 minutes at the least! You stifle a yawn. Then what? To top it all, you are alone.

For myself, I try out laughter therapy (with windows rolled up, of course!). Switch off the engine, but keep the music going. Wipe the interiors a bit.
What about you? I am certainly willing to pick up some more tips on this (without compromising on safe driving), to retain my sanity.

Suggestions please

Just be. Why do?

Why do when you can be?

It purely depends on the mood.
1. Clean the interiors.
2. Speak to the person next to you. (If approachable and is open to a conversation)
3. If the traffic is not moving at all, call my friends

Other than blaming the system, government, policies, ammm.. no nothing.
Maybe keep an eye on the biker trying to inch through. Look out for mods on other cars.

I just see the vehicles around and laugh at them when they try to squeeze their cars between a bike

Soft relaxing soothing music with an eye out for bikes trying to squeeze through.

If the traffic blocks for more than 10 mins I usually call the traffic control room and tell that the traffic has just piled up and tell them to inform the traffic cops to clear the route.

I get usually stuck near TV tower junction on Mekri circle fun world route during morning, Here the traffic blocks due to Manual operation of signal, so most of the time the traffic has got cleared after pestering the control room.

So - YOU ARE THE GUY who creates traffic chaos on an empty road eh?

Traffic Jams - Interesting, but they move at less than a feet every minute and that is when I start contemplating

1. My next car is "this" automatic etc..
2. I should have a "good" driver
3. Look at all missed calls and return the call.
4. Check SMS inbox and delete, reply etc.
5. Look out for interesting cars / babes
6. Turn up the BASS and see whether everything is OK with my Music System

Traffic Jam..........

What to do?
Well speak to my wifey if she is around......
Else watch others' outside.......(Joking) if at all she gets to read it, who knows??
Clean the interiors at times.......
But most of all fiddle with my CARPUTER only to be awakened by the HONKING of others when the signal turns green.

Damn it it KILLS to be stuck

if you are in a car then all the above things holds good. But imagine if you are on a 2 wheelers and stuck between 2 vehicles and in the centre of the road(if you were on the edge of the road then atleast you can jump the divider or footpath) what will be the situation and adding to this it is 11am summer time.

One thing which has helped me keep sanity in traffic jams especially at signals which is not going to move in the next couple of minutes or so is it to push back the seat and relax. At times I would surf the net on my mobile.

whenever I get stuck in a jam, usually listen to some light music/tune in different FM stations. this gives a bit of relief to the mind. The other thing do is to call friends/family
