This is not limited to pedestriants alone. Have you ever observed, whenever one has to take a U turn in a car, and there's traffic coming from the other side, nobody bothers to wait, not matter how many times you blink your headlights. Everybody wants to dodge the car and go to the other side.
A while ago, a green(ish) Nano had crashed (apparently) into the Mindtree circle and was still there. Might result in snarls if it has not been moved to the side by peak time.

What is shocking though, is the horrible sight of a large convoy of Wipro Buses that take the wrong side of the divider and line up at Hinjewadi chowk. This happens almost every single day.

Have written a mail to the FMG / transport team and they are taking it up with the vendor, if you see no corrective being taken do let me know :)

I left at 7:30PM yesterday, and was really surprised to find easy flowing traffic all the way from Phase 2 to HJW chowk! Reached in approx 5 mins.
Live update:
Long queue from Wipro Ph2 to Ph1. No idea as to why.
Can see a line all the way till Advinus building.
If anyone in Ph2/3 plans to leave now, take the back route.

How is it now? Anyone left within the last 30 mins or so?
huge jams until CC. All exits/entries to CC are jammed as per latest update. CC jam on highway upto praj exit
Avoid entering HJW through the main road after 10.30 AM guys. They start removing the extra lane at around that time and it results in absolute chaos all along. Use any other route but this.
Removal of barricades ofcourse, aint going to deter odd the Brave Hinjewadikar on a bike/in rickshaw/cab/car/SUV to head on challenge oncoming vehicles.
Traffic was a breeze today at 7.45 pm. Bhumkar Chowk was uncannily empty today. Dunno why!!

Thats bizzare. I left at 7 pm and was stuck in traffic for atleast 20 minutes in between Phase 1 circle and Hinjewadi chowk !

Hi Hurrycane,
Here are some pics of a Wipro bus on the wrong side again today. The Reg number of the bus is MH 14 BA 8862. I must say that the incidence of a convoy of Wipro buses on the wrong side is zero now, however the stray bus does break the law from time to time. Here is some proof :

Have mailed the pictures to the transport team, will follow up to ensure proper action is taken in this case.

Soon this might become a legal route during peak hours with the plastic barricades being put in. They have to make use of the barricades donated by HIA.stupid:

Transport team has mailed to the service provider TVS with copies of the pictures and have called for a meeting; that's the latest update.
