the SUV went off this bridge and all this due to stupid drunk driving and overspeeding.

Whoa, must have been some impact to do that to an endeavor(Its the Endeaver, right?)
They are lucky to be alive. Very very lucky. The road looks to be either Jaipur highway or GT road

Glad they survived - thanks to the amount of steel consumed by the Endeavour.

Drunken driving apart, that stretch of road needs some guard rails badly. Like most highways in the coutry, safety remains a parameter not considered at all.

Nope. There are cement railings, that too the thinnest example of thise. Guard rails are solid steel railings, like the ones on the mumbai-pune expressway. Also, look at the approach to the bridge, a small mistake and you go straight into the drain/culvert.

God! The more I read of there the more convinced I am that a huge majority is not prepared for more bhp yet. Most people have grown up driving pedal-to-metal and seem to do it all the time, without any consideration of traffic (other road users), road conditions, own condition.

Too often at the edge and you're bound to go over a couple of times.

If the driver escaped unhurt, he is lucky.

I'm sorry, but I have absolutely no sypmathy for such people. Please ban such people from driving and wasting money on cars. I'm sure the guy will just go buy another expensive piece of machinery that he doesn't deserve.
