Happiness is spotting Indian brands overseas. Here is an XUV and Xenon from the Middle East roads.

XUV is quite popular in some project sites undertaken by Indian companies like MEIL and ESSAR .

I had spotted one super rare Tata Aria once with KSA registration in Kuwait and recently spotted one single cab Scorpio pikup too.

Suzuki is not an Indian brand by any stretch of imagination. So doesn't really qualify to appear in this thread.

Re: Pics: Indian vehicles in foreign countries

Here are pictures of a few cars I clicked, that reminded me of home, during my stay in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This was back in 2006/2007, so the models you see here were on the roads back then!

The Dawoo Matiz:

The Maruti Esteem (sold as the Suzuki Swift in The Netherlands):

The Hyundai Getz:

Our Beloved Maruti 800 (Sold as the Alto):

I definitely did not expect to find an Omni in The Netherlands, but I did!

These might not be homegrown brands from India, but do make an Indian abroad pause, and reminisce for a few golden moments

Re: Pics: Indian vehicles in foreign countries

Fascinating to see Indian cars abroad. Thanks for sharing. Some of the cars here not exactly Indian abroad. They have been sold in the western markets long before India e.g Daewoo Matiz, Nissan Micra, various generations of Swifts and Altos.

Re: Pics: Indian vehicles in foreign countries

Further to Indian vehicles in foreign countries I would like to say India vehicles in foreign Movies. I was watching Vanguard starring Jackie Chan and happen to notice Tata Safari Strome in one of the scenes.

Some people on this forum get an inferiority complex when talking about Mahindra, and then there are people overseas, just driving them without a care in the world.
