saw the yellow gallardo tonight at around 10 near defence colony......it was beng escorted by a brand new black toyota prado with the siren thing going on.i followed it.stoped at a stop light.n it was standing next to me.guys this thing is soo low.n the sound was sooo sweet. that i cant describe it in words..it was like...heaven

Yes, there is a yellow Gallardo in Delhi, n I happen to knw the owner...

delivery was js taken about a week back.

The owner also has a LS 430, n a couple more cars in the family such as LX 470, silver CL 500.

I know you might not be able to tell who are you talking about but u can tell where is the car? which part of delhi????

Please guys do not reveal the identity of these owners. Pics with number plates NOT blacked out are a NO NO. The only exceptoin being cars or pictures reported by national new papers and magazines.

well... this car has been in Delhi for over a month now... it was originally ordered 'on order' for a client in Mumbai... but was routed through Delhi for the official launch party. The original owner (?) did not eventually take delivery for reasons I cant disclose...

The car is the same thats been featured in this months CAR magazine. Plenty of journos had a run in this car and I guess its finally sold now.

Been up close, got pics, its really wide, really low and sounds....

Actually, its a Gallardo SE (a very limited edition) and has the E-gear transmission (tiptronic in other words).

The owner apparently ordered a Conti GT, but den cancelled his order when he learnt about Lambo starting operations in India.

I have some pics, but they are at the owner's house, hence cannot post dem.

The SE is infact a Limited Edition per say, but Lamborghini have now introduced all these additional features in the 2006 update of the Gallardo hence making the SE just an earlier production of the 2006 Gallardo.

And the E-Gear is in NO WAY a Tiptronic transmission. Its a paddle-shift MANUAL transmission without leg clutch. A Tiptronic is an automatic transmission with the ability to change gears using buttons or Le-mans style shiftlever (just up and down).
