Was reading a couple of magazines where I came across Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt talk cars. Ranbir seems to be quite a car freak. He says he would upgrade to a SLS AMG from his G63, and Alia on the other hand, being as stupid as ever, says that she loves the Mercedes "Jeep" , which I presume is the G Wagen.
Now it will be interesting to see if Ranbir actually gets a SLS.

And on another note, the guys at AMG Center Bangalore told me that 5 last SLS AMGs are destined to India which I suppose would be the Final Series. Pretty sad to see such an amazing machine go out of production.

Correction:
It is Sandalwood star Ganesh who is being gifted a Black GL by his wife and not Irfan Khan. I guess you read the article a tad too quick !

Arent they coming up with a new SLS'esque car? Apparently no gull-wing doors this time.

That would be the AMG GT that would be coming up.
It's not a different replacement to the SLS.
Yes, it does not feature the Gullwings and it's shorter than the SLS

A not-so-well-known singer Shrey Singhal has taken delivery of a new RR Ghost. From what he says, it looks like it is a Spev V Ghost with 21inchers. He even has a white CGTV8 and a black Audi R8 V8 with red blades.
Hope this fits in this thread. Not a bolly actor but a 'celeb' nonetheless.

Doesn’t Rolls Royce do a background check of the owner or something? Or is it just a hoax? I’ve heard that on a number of occasions before.

Not really as far as i re-collect, his 599, TLC and R8 have been sold, he still has the rolls and the A8L.

The A8L too is gone. Only the Ghost remains.
BTW his R8 was sold to the guy above with the black Ghost

Hi Gannu,

Few days back I had the same question and I asked Scorcher about it. He told me that they do a background check for clients and approach the potential clients on their own.

And if someone has the moolah and wishes to buy one then they don't refuse to sell to them. They don't get into the background checking stuff then. They can't be very choosy in our country
