On a related note, how would you compare the ride-quality in the new M5 and the old M3? New BMWs have softer suspension settings going by several reviews.

| ![]() The F10 M5 rides quite a bit better than the E92 M3, as you'd expect; it's a much larger car and is a super saloon rather than a sports coupe. Last edited by kbk_75 : 4th October 2012 at 01:27. |

| ![]() While we are in the topic of wraps, here is a mate's Matte Red wrapped F10 5er. Done at Bangalore, costed 35k. The finish, I say, is pretty darn good. Evident from the second pic. |

| ![]() The ride in the M5 was certainly better than the old 525 he had.My friend already had a four year old 525d & it had run flat tyres, that car was also mostly used for intercity travels & he didn't face any problem. But since the M5 runs on normal tyres & not having a spare could be problem. My friend is so smitten by the M5 that he doesn't want to test drive the S4 for the moment. One more thing holding up now is his dad, who by the way is quite a car nut himself not only of keeping them prim & proper, but also doing big kilometers i.e almost 40K + per annum. He has told him to buy whatever car he wishes, but don't expect him to use the M5 as an occasional car. So you can expect him to use the M5 for 15k at least per annum!! So looking a the running cost + the time it might take in the workshop for solving problems he'll certainly be getting in to trouble & the lack of spare tyre could be a spanner in the works:( Guess to own a performance car is a bummer in India or at least we need to change our mentality to when it comes to owning such cars. |

If my guess about who the owner is ,is correct then he'd even modded his previous gen e60 M5 to crazy power levels IIRC. Besides he has a stock Aventador (and a lot lot more) to play around with already maybe thats why an only 560hp stock M5 might not be enough to satisfy him ![]() Sounds crazy i know but some people are like that.

![]() And indeed, this M5 belongs to the same guy who had the previous generation M5 which he wrapped in Matte Black and now this in Matte Grey. Also has a Nero Nemesis Aventador ![]()
