The thing with Rolls Royce seats are that they are madly padded and of a much higher standard. There's no denying that the MB100/140 seats there are luxurious, but certainly not RR material. The design is clearly Mercedes Benz...obviously, for the sake of ostentatious show-value, one is being told by the owners/driver that they are Rolls Royce captain seats.

I have sat in a RR Silver Spirit and a Silver Seraph, as well as the W140, W220 and the W221 Merc S Classes... I have been a huge fan of four door luxury sedans from each brand for nearly one and a half decades now...so yes, I can tell a seat when I see one. lol

....agreed to all that has been told by you, BUT, the fact remains that this Mercedes Van has seats from the RR stable. I am not sure from which model, but YES it has ceom from Rolls Royce UK. The customer was very keen to get a pair of seats and Navnit motors being the sole importers for RR in India has helped this customer to source this pair.

I'm somehow still skeptical. If RR DID provide the seats, then why is it a typical Mercedes design? Yes, RR may provide the seats and the neccessary leather, but no, they will never copy a Mercedes design (unless ofcourse the designers were rewarded a healthy sum...in which case you could probably get leather-clad Mercedes logos made by RR as well).

I first saw this streched Merc in a recent tamil mega hit movie "Gagni" starred by super stars Surya & Asin. In the movie he was a CEO of a multinational company & this limo was showcased like a Maybach escorting by 4 white E-classes. And lot of them beleived it as a Maybach..nice job by the director

The MB-100 is a mobile office furnished by the famous DC..Mr.Malliya has a similar one, cheri-red..He has been using it during a election campaing for Janathadal at Kerala..I saw him in it when he arrived to attended a meet organised for businessmen by the chamber of commerce of our town, Calicut.

Hey Bud, this merc seems to be based on old E class (w124)or similar generation model and all the Mods in there seem to be very shoddy something you can call as desi mod. Front looks very DC inspired but lost in midway and gets very cheapo at rear and that van i think saw on a Tv autoshow
watever very good find
