The Y2K is for 'Display purposes only' AFAIK for the 26th.

Running that bike among many other cars at the SCC with their expensive body panels and the destructive heat of a jet exhaust is not really advisable.

This bike might also make the India Bike Week in Goa next week.

Isn't the Y2K street legal?? If yes then it shouldn't be too much of an issue to be parked alongside and/or ride alongside the cars as a part of the convoy... Last year the convoy was led by the BMW S1000rr (agreed that it wasn't powered by a gas turbine engine).

If kept at a safe distance, I'm sure it can lead a part of the drive. Here's a video of 2 Y2K's being ridden on the streets along side each other.

The MTT Y2K is street legal indeed. What I mean is the car's following should not have their bumpers deformed by jet exhaust gases as that will cost a bomb of money!

The Aventador roadster will not take part in the rally on Sunday because it is left hand drive. However, it will be on display.

@raycers - thanks for the first show first pics. I was hoping the cars whould roll in the morning. Seems they came in the night , smart move.
Getting ready to go there and hope to catch a few good pics.

Thanks a lot raycers. Great pics those are. Would be going to the event today and I too was hoping that the cars would roll in in the morning, but disappointed.

Either ways, would be there tomorrow as well to hear the roaring.

I think the cars roll in the previous night every year. Even at last year's event I remember most of the cars had arrived by the previous evening.

Going there today around 12:30pm. Will be there tomorrow too.

The cars were driven in last evening I guess. There was a launch party last night. Got invited through a close friend. Trust me being there was like heaven. It was a great site. On entering the venue I was like a kid in a toy shop. I went berserk. I first checked at the lambos stationed at the beginning. Oh my god, that was an unexplainable feeling to see a bunch of lambos parked on the grounds. Along with the lambos were the 458s and many other cars in the lineup. Because of the due most cars looked matt. There is matt black aventador which looked wicked. Oh and some enthusiast even took the vanquish for a short spin on the polo grounds. The roar of that animal was the one of the best sounds I've ever heard. Seeing it in motion was even better albeit at a snails pace. Then all hell broke loose when they announced that the aventador roadster was going to be unveiled. I moved like Flash Gordon to the lambo stand. There she was stunning as ever. That was art out of this world. I was in a state of shock. I froze for a few moments. Yup, my jaw dropped. Well off course I sat in it. On both seats passenger as well as driver. And then later on some one started her up. My jaw dropped again and is still like that as I typed this post.

Just now, the roadster was revved up and believe me, it sounded like hell. Any BHPians here yet?
The twin turbo is going to be revved soon.

would have loved to brother, but the crowd is madening. Pics have been taken, but the videos seem a bit difficult from my side. Would try my best to capture the experience.
