Umm not really... you have lot of options if you looking to spend that kind of money, while the look of this car is definately more apealing but here is a small list of competing cars (base models) that are equally good or better then the lotus

2005 Audi TT $33,500
2005 BMW Z4 $34,800
2005 Chrysler Crossfire $29,145
2005 Porsche Boxster $43,800

I would go for z4 anyday over lotus.

Sinner even i thought the same thing, but if you look closely at the pic the spot under the right hand side brake light there seems to be a dent.Only mav will be able to shed some light on this issue..

Well guys.. the blue 5 series is a normal 530d with scratches and dents all around waiting for accident repairs.. well i dint get to rev it.. but the driver sure did!!

Well Elise uses a fiber body, so dunno if a regular bodyshop can repair it.

Elise was given a waiver since it dosent meet some US regs.
