Seems to be a rarity for Indian Lambos and also going by it's usage the owner is a real auto enthusiast and not a poseur.

No man, it's an E-gear. E-gear is the standard gearbox on Lambo now. If you want the 6-speed H-Box, that would have to be specially ordered.

Not for soon though, the Gallardo will be the last model from Lamborghini to have a manual tranny option. Aventador has already ditched it, and in 2013-14, when the Cabrera (Gallardo replacement) arrives, the H-box will be a thing of the past.

Sadly, there is only one manual Lamborghini in the whole country, a Monterey blue Gallardo.

Wish I could get my hands on that

Correct me if I am wrong Anif. I think the first Evoque was delivered within a week of the national launch to a famous transport/logistics company from Calicut, it's a white one. Then a black and a white one were spotted wearing private number plates in Cochin.

I see, well every sportscar company is ditching the manual tranny,but some special \editions bringg a fresh dash of hope that M/T hasn't died.
BTW, is blue one you are telling is a Murceilago based in Delhi??? Have read about it in ACI.

When was this launched? I saw a black one on 14th Nov (to be precise). Will that qualify as one of the first? I had posted the pic too.

Correction there, a Yellow LP560-4 in Hyderabad belonging to a very famous garage is said to be a 6 Speed Manual !
