They recently acquired Lamborghini, hands too full for Rolls Royce now.

No clue, could be the dismal sales which makes running the dealership a huge task. BMW is not going anywhere.

The initial sales were due to the pent-up demand. The Phantom is bought more as a reward than as a luxury tool. Apart from that phone shop Phantom, none of the Phantoms have done substantial miles as far as I know to warrant a change.

Add to that, my guess is that the majority of the buyers are from the Property and Infrastructure sector. You can guess their current situation.

I have not heard of any firm orders for the Phantom or the Cullinan presently. I think the Bentayga beat them to it. As for the Ghost, the Maybach has swiped its cheese.

This is my opinion, I have no data or facts and I could be wrong

Re: Pics: Rolls Royce Phantom

The brand new Phantom VIII was launched in February last year. Since then there's been a steady flow of deliveries. There are around 10-12 of these in the country if I'm right. Posting some pictures of these land yachts.

Chennai got the first delivery which was the launch car itself. Since then the city is home to 3 of them. All in white.

Black on silver Phantom from the capital. This one was the second car to be delivered.

Another one from the Capital.

A classy spec from Delhi again. Don't know if this one is a dealer car or has been delivered.

One of the two recent deliveries. This one goes to Pune.

Last but definitely not the least, this one from Hyderabad. Incredible spec on this one (as with most of the exotics of the city). Waiting for a picture taken in daylight.

Note that almost all of these are the EWB versions and the last one is said to have the 'Serenity Package' which makes it the most expensive production car in India right now. Going to spec an exotic? Take your Hyderabadi friend along!

11 units of the Phantom 8 have been delivered across India afaik. There are no demo cars, all cars which made it to the country have either been delivered to customers or are awaiting delivery.

Not your usual 458 Spider, this is the country's only Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta.

I once had an opportunity to see this car up, close and personal. Some pics that I could click - Supercars & Imports : Pune.

Here's a pic in which I am not able to pick up my jaw from the floor and wipe off that grin.

This has been a part of the YZP garage since inception I believe. One can also see their signature "P" monogrammed on the C-Pillar.

Yep. Been an integral part of the collection since it landed. Is definitely one of the most used Phantoms in the country.

Re: Pics: Rolls Royce Phantom

Does this have a Mansory kit? At the time it was imported, it was stock. Don't see the Mansory kit in these pics.

Also just my personal view - the white walled tyres do not suit the Phantom. It would suit the Silver Spur / Spirit / Seraph - but not the Phantom.

Nothing has, and ever will come close to the Phantom in terms of sheer on-road presence.
