While on the topic of imported Hondas, I spotted this what looks like a very tastefully modified old generation Accord in Kharghar.

Since it was quite a while back, not sure if I recollect correctly but I think it had pop-up head lamps.

Great find. Its a singleton purpose road legal go kart car.
Believe the the Elise production ended in 2021. Could this be among the last dealer clearance stocks if at all there is such a case of cars of this category.

On a side off topic note about Lotus electric SUV : https://www.lotuscars.com/en-GB/eletre/ does it not look like a home modified Urus.

Ran into a bunch of large hearted folks who proactively chatted up my nephews and even offered them to sit inside when I was taking a picture of theirs with the FF and Bentayga in the background. What a sweet way to end a late night jaunt around town

I believe that is a GTC4 Lusso. The FF was the previous generation and had a different style of headlights and grille. Still lovely to see a Prancing Horse out and about, always.

Indeed the Elise is a proper go kart. Looked so uncomfortable and cramped even from the outside. Props to the owner for living with the lack of comfort on our roads. And yes, production halted last year and this is among the final few Elise to ever be produced. I’m sure dealers across the UK still have some stock on their lots though. Sadly it’s not a very popular car unless you are a diehard enthusiast.

The base car for the 6x6 is a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. If you look closely at the front end you will be able to easily recognise this.

For anyone who wishes to see exotics driving around Mumbai, Worli Seaface is the best bet. From the early morning hours until about 11 AM is peak time to see fancy cars driving up and down that stretch.

The Apocalypse 6x6 is based on a Jeep Gladiator, not a Rubicon.
