it was indeed pushed inside the showroom.

saw a black colored Carrera GT at peddar road today , perhaps someone was taking a test drive , isnt there a showroom just below kemps corner flyover?

Are you sure it was a Carrera GT and not a 911 or a Cayman?? As far as I know, the CGT was only available in silver, red and yellow.

You probably saw the black cayman S thats always around the area.

No dude CGTs were available in Guards Red, Fayence Yellow, Basalt Black, GT Silver and Seal Grey.

I highly doubt you saw a carrera gt in black.

Friend of mine is getting the chance to drive the CGT on the 17th after/during/before the Porsche customers event (or something along those lines) at the Land's End. Have urged him to take plenty of pics and vids, as opportunities like these aren't exactly around every corner...especially for a 21 year old college student. Lucky bugger.

I am guessing what you saw was the black/dark blue Cayman S and not the CGT. the car belongs to someone i know and is regular on Peddar road, i saw it myself a couple of nights ago.

You mean to say the gt never came in black .Once i saw a program on travel and living and person driving his gt and it was black.

I don't think that is what was said. Of course the CGT came in black as well.

(assuming you meant 17th Dec and the Lands End is in bombay).

the CGT was available in 6 colours incuding 2 Black variants namely Basalt black metallic & solid black.
There is certainly no black GT as of now in INDIA. the only one we have is in the showroom.
Also there is no one who can get to drive it, lands end is a fantasy story.

Looks like the sonofagun lied to me. He first kept stating about a delay and now claims to have been in it and taken pictures which he promised to mail. Glad he isn't what I'd call a close friend. With 'friends' like those, who needs courtroom drama on tv? :p

I am sorry to start this thread again, a friend of mine called me from delhi saying that there is a Carrera GT on sale. Does anyone know if there is a white carerra GT delhi?

im pretty sure theres no carrera gt in India... but i remember that there was a sweet looking 997 Carrera GTS with the aero kit somewhere in the north.. could this be the same car??
