Central delhi has always been heaven for cars but none the less good work Parishrut.
Though you missed the red 458 which stands outside the showroom and belongs to the owner of the dealership.

The Black Murci resides on AMS marg and can be seen on the weekends.

Also, I heard that SL55 was put up for sale few months back.

No, the R8 V8 Spyder was launched months back. It's been for sale in the UK too. Check this: R8 Spyder V8 < R8 < Models < Audi UK

Does anybody have a clue on what car exactly it was that Amar Singh went to the Police station in? Most media channels report it as a Merc, but any more details appreciated, thanks.

That was a Phaeton.Huge legroom in the rear,especially when they opened the door to let Amar Singh out.

Yup, it's a PHAETON, got that on NDTV while they and others were still calling it WaBenzi Merc, but there's something strange about it. The name VOLKSWAGEN spelt out on the rear for one, but there's something else, about the front? Can't quite get it . . .

back to phaeton, i know someone who owned a white w12 back in 06 in delhi.

Massive and cutting edge. Ultimate vehicle. Made the S class look like a corolla.

The local cops have picked up the big car slang, and the terms used are Wabenzi, Fraudi, Bheema, and now Phatigyo. I got this from a beat cop who was doing a quiet re-check on the imported cars parked in the area where I live (DefCol) New Delhi. Actually, WaBenzi has been around in Delhi for some time now to describe the kind of people who ride around in these huge tanks with stars in front for some time now. It is also interesting to see that some of the real movers and shakers in Delhi are now moving around in their tier-2 cars. But there is still something strange about the VW Phaeton shown on tv being used by Amar Singh. I cant quite figure it out.

this car's, or a sister of it, has been going up and down golf course road for the past 3 hours.
I saw a wagonr cab trying to beat it off of the signals....
