I guess this is the Merc stockyard in Gurgoan. As always, subject to correction.
Oh ok. Khan market needs some serious attention now, i guess.

This Merc stockyard, is it open to automobile nuts like us, mayb upon a little negotiation ? . Btw, seems like we have 2 Delhi registered SLS in Delhi now. Haven't heard of any others in Delhi except a particular Chandigarh registered one which stays here only, and was seen at the recent Canonball Club Drive.

Yes it was Big Chill. And even more than the shakes, it was the posters that caught my attention. Some very retro ones of automobile and bike companies like Cadillac and Harley Davidsson adorned the walls. Loved them all.

Shouldn't your post read "Triple dhamaal" instead of "Double dhamaal"?
'Coz I see two red (notice the difference in the rims) and one blue SLS.

95 lakh for a 6 series is way too expensive. Not sure if this will do well in India.

The 6-Series was always sold at that price. On the road, it should be around 1.2 crores or more. That's Porsche 911 territory! BMW introduced the 6 for the purpose of targeting 911 customers. I've seen several 6ers in Bangalore. In fact, there are a few m6s as well!

The Z4, on the road, is a little under 90 lakhs, but we still see plenty of them around. In fact, there are more than a few on this forum itself!

The rich Indian does not hesitate to spend anymore. Gone are the days when they'd invest all that money in land, or buy a building for the purpose of getting rent.

It's good for us enthusiasts!

The rich Indian that you're talking about already has acre's of land and a couple of buildings under his name...that is the reason he can afford to buy such expensive wheels

Spotted a beautiful BMW Z4 in an even more beautiful shade of deep navy blue on Mathura Road a few minutes back. Reg. no. was a combination of two '0's, a '7' and a '6'. It was attracting a lot of attention on the road.

I couldn't agree more.

Indians are like hand-pumps. A bit is on display, rest is stashed away.
Eg. In the US someone worth a few million would drive a bentley. Over here, typically only someone worth 100 plus million would buy the same car.

Saw a Black Cayenne with CH registration near the RTR South Campus Flyover abut an hour ago. It has a pretty intimidating presence I must say!
