Spotted a silver Jaguar XK near the Lanson Toyota showroom at cenotaph road yesterday morning. Looked awesome. Couldn't take a pic as i was crossing the road.

@badboyscad: must have been the XKR, there are no XK's in town. I don't think JLR is even selling XK's in India.

I agree. The Z4 wierds me out . Spotted this dark blue 7 today and there's a blue Mini Cooper S prowling around too which i was unable to photo.

I've seen the blue mini, in Kotturpuram. It was parked there. Never saw it after though.

I stand corrected, yeah, it was a XKR. And i spotted a black range rover at the same place this evening. Man,cenotaph road is surely a haven(at peak timings) for spotting imports.

@bivin: The Carrera has been here for about a year or a year and a half.
Saw the silver Panamera last night, looked very elegant trundling along with the traffic.

As Nitrous said, it's a TD2000. A "modern" vintage, here's a thread on the car. Couple of years back, someone was planning to launch the TD2000 here & had imported a couple of examples (for research, promotions etc.). Good chance these spottings are of those very samples.

I know this has been posted before, but I had a chance to run into the white R8 yesterday at Adyar. The dude floored it at the traffic lights. I was gaping absend mindedly somewhere when The car flew past. The noise the car made was amazing. I was like What the ... and turned around to see the rear of the car moving off
