This is nothing surprising and is quite common in Chennai. Have seen very simple folks who are incredibly rich and drive expensive cars.

I particularly remember the simply dressed MAC who went around in a British racing green Jaguar V12.

Errrr ! I believe that imports are cars that YOU import yourself and not available officially, locally, not the ones that the company imports (CBU, CKU etc) and sells it through a dealer here in India. In that case, even the accord and camry were imports and still are.
