Spotted this PY registered BMW Z4 at Gachibowli. Very sedately driven towards the ORR. I think the sedated driving ended as soon as he entered the ORR.

The guys at the RTO mess it up again! First it was the MJ College RR Phantom SWB that was registered as an EWB and now this M3 Coupe registered as a Convertible!

Might be OT, but how could RTO be at fault? They would enter the details as provided in the Registration Form, Invoice and etc. They would not go ahead and enter details by themselves. I guess the issue could have cropped in from either of the documents submitted during registration.

For instance: I have a Black Santro but my RC reads it as Midnight Black. How did the RTO guys enter this detail. Until unless it was not mentioned on the Form/Invoice/etc, this detail could not have been entered. Hence, I think it was documented as Convertible on the registration form and hence updated that way.

^Shyn, That is INDEED a M3 convertible, the owner stays in Masab Tank, He also has a Audi Q7 4.2 TDI. If i remember correctly, you or someone has already posted the pic of the SAME M3 parked near Vijay nagar colony, which is close to MASAB tank

These aren't the same M3's. The one I posted was a HR Registered M3, which was convertible and this is a AP13 Regd. M3, that too a coupe. Attached the pic of the M3, I saw at Vijay Nagar Colony.

The CF roof, in all probability, is hidden in the light and the glare in the photograph.

We need more pictures of the same M3, albeit from different angles.



As you can see from the picture, there is an antenna on back of the roof. Won't this come in the way when the roof proceeds to fold away, if it's a convertible? Also, the boot shut-lines on the convertible are on the side of the car (rear fender above the wheel-arch) but in the coupe (in this picture) the shut line gives it the impression that it is a coupe.



I might be wrong though.

But i have seen a white colored m3 convertible near shanti nagar, behind masab tank. The owner usually comes to Creamstone in this vehicle during the weekends. It is mehdipatnam registered. That explains the ap 13 registration too.

How ever i do not know of the exact number, will spot it next time.

As I have personally seen both these cars, the one at Vijay Nagar Colony, the HR Registered BMW M3 Convertible, which could have been re-registered in Hyderabad offlate and this one. Both these M3's are different Ravelsnip. Suhaas and myself, we both have put forth the same point. The Shut Lines on both the M3's are different.

This M3 seen here is the same one I've seen in Vijay Nagar Colony. A Convertible M3 with Black Alloys. This seems to be the same one. I think ShortShifter can throw some more light on it by letting us know the Regd. Number of this M3.



This is surely a BMW M3 Convertible but not the one posted earlier.
