ANYWAYS, I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE MY WORDS BACK..... the above picture does not show the malfunctioning of the airmatic but the beauty of an s class!!!
The road is tilted.. the car is tilting to balance itself so that the owner stays level..
believe me. this road is far from tilted.

That road is pretty close to my house and believe me, it's not tilted. Besides, many, many S Class Mercs travel on the that road every day. I've never seen one tilted like this.

well then in that case i guess you know it better then.. but as far as i know.. this is what the airmatic is primarily designed for..

- off topic - the owner of atil auto had bought a wrecked landcruiser which used to run tilted too.. at an auction for 10 lakhs. accident car. still runs tilted..

V10 i agree with Akshay and Aditya. The road is not tilted from any angle. The S class does have a problem. I can confirm on what the problem is from the guys at the service station. That is if the car has gone there.

The S class is standing at the workshop and has bushing issues. this is told to me by the person at the service center. The car still stands tilted amoungst the others.

Bushing?! I don't see how that would lead to such a massive tilt. I still think its a hydraulic / air compressor failure.

The class uses Hydraulic suspension. The cars has structs filled with ciculating pressurized oil which maintains a level ride. The Self leveling system does not respond respond too fast to avoid unnecessary up/down movement. The ride softness is controlled by nitrogen filled accumalators. An incorrect tilt or lowering can be the result of 3 things. Hydraulic leak. 2. Pump failure and 3. Strut failure.
