Even the slowest car in Sachin’s garage is one of the quickest diesel SUVs in the country -- a BMW X5 M50d. The M50d is not sold in India, and this is the only one in the country. It was specially imported by BMW for Sachin, since the maestro didn’t want to sacrifice performance even in an SUV. How quick is it? The 2993cc motor launches it from zero to 100kph in 5.3 seconds.

Spotted a brand new white RR Ghost at the RTO Pal yesterday afternoon which had come there for registration. No snaps unfortunately. There was a sizeable crowd around the car.

I am surprised the owner decided to install the high security number plates which require riveting and in a way, damages the car. Most high end cars have after market plates that are simply stuck to the slots and not screwed.

Was in Surat over the weekend, managed to see a brand new 3 GT in a shade of blue, it was unregistered, with the garland on the front, managed to catch a quick glimpse of the burnt orange MH registered Mini cooper and the black 330d coupe, driven by a lady driver.

This thread isn’t dead I hope.

No snaps unfortunately but I spotted the Monte Carlo blue M5 (same car as the one posted by h@rsh@l above I am guessing) and a 370Z (in a dark blue shade) at Surat last Friday. Friend had to give his Terrano for servicing at the Nissan outlet and we spotted a brand new white M5 (awaiting delivery?) at the BMW showroom’s lot.

There’s a new Z4 (orange or tan brown shade) in Navsari. Shall try to click some snaps next time if I can.

Yes its a kit car based on a Merc S-Class. It was on display during the Autocar Performance Show in Mumbai.
