We should all bow to moral fibre for having accomplished something we all thought is impossible.

If at all, the H1 joins the Indian forces, after a period of their usage, these vehicles would come for sale in an auction at "Heavy Vehicle Factory" which is present in Chennai. i think i would be the first guy to bid for them at the auctions....Anyone wanna join ?

Man, you're my new best friend! I'm sure you have some rich relatives who wear white and live in the middle east.

On the contrary its a shame that we have to rely on imports for our military. After 58 years of independance, we cant make a totally indegounous plane, leave alone jeeps!

aseem dude.....most of us in india drive cars that are made by companies which are originally from other countries....and we rely on these machines in our evryday life...for travelling, safetwise etc....why? because they have and use proven technology from all over the world.....their machines are tested and retested!!! so if the indian military decides to use humvees in their fleet am more than sure that it will anyday perform betta than the jeeps we have now!!!!!!

There is something called survival of the fittest......faced with armys of china and pakistan, if india decides to mordenise it's army and equipments used by it then what's harm in that.....???....Hummers have been battle proved in many parts of the globe so induction of these vehicals in our army will only strengthen its capability.

well if we (india) can build something better than the Humvee nothing like it, but if we cant, we also should not be sitting ducks for our neighbours.
