Wow ! Nice video there dude. That is 'some' visual. Now, I think I really need to take your advice and wait for the diesel Still, it is way out of my budget at this point ! Lets see.

It would have been more dramatic if it was dark. You missed the heart-beat on the starter button.

Nice vid! I love that V8 growl. I wonder how would the XF-R sound when this is already so good! So you touched 170 there?

Man! Just love that V8 snarl of the cat. Sexo ! Chennai is calling me very badly.

@ragingbull - He max out the full speedo(260) on his bangy trips. 170 must be piece of cake !

Awesome video. You captured the growl of the Jag so well.
The XFR will sound even meaner but I think the sound wont be this pure as the supercharger whine would be there.
This is pure naturally aspirated V8 growl at its best.

Absolutely! It sounds like the devil's lair! And the XF-R might be just 10 lakhs more, but I'd still pick up the XF. 380 horses is all you need! Plus, the XF-R would be a lot more impractical I reckon. I would just get the XF-R wheels

Varun, you had mentioned that you'd switch to the XF-R's wheels soon right? When's that happening?

The XFR is actually a good 25 lakhs more when it comes to On road prices.

And the XFR rims are amazing but I dont think that is available as an extra ! There is an even better rim called selena from jaguar. Thats also awesome looking.

@ arjun: those are gorgeous wheels you are talking about. infact, i had asked varun to get it on his car, but i guess they are way too big for namma Chennai roads!! anyways, heres what they look like!!

Awesome video both, the first one looks like from a sci-fi movie. Enjoy the V8 responsibly.

Thanks for the correction Arjun. The 'Selena' hoops look even better! You're absolutely right! Aren't they the same ones on the XK-R? They can actually pass off as concept-car wheels! Great stuff!

@jagxf Awesome ride and write up man!.Only the wheels take some of its charm away! Bring on the XF/XK-R or the Selena 20"s!

No,the XK/XF-R come with different, but equally beautiful six spoke wheels 20 inchers.
