Yeah, that's certainly a Mk III Supra- a late eighties one if I'm not wrong. These are still found in the Drag Racing scene with the 2JZ swap.

saw the dark grey MP registered GTR on sat night coming back from Moca...thing was insane!!!

. Hearing those turbos spool up is like heaven..and to top it all off the driver of the taxi that i was in tried to race it!!!

Yes I did spot a Mercedes SUV in Indiranagar and followed him half a km to take snaps!! Think it read at the back as some 300 DS or some such series (dont recall the exact model)

Also I saw a Chrysler 300 with MH registration though near my house. It jsut looks every bit as royal as the name suggests.

Pics are on my nokia and i jsut need to figure out a way to transfer from the phone to my laptop without a cable

Also think that 6 series that your friend saw is in mumbai now, saw its pic on the other thread (the parx supercar show)

actually speaking that supra(shabbirs) i saw it long back ago (exactly on last to last airshow day in Bangalore not the one held this year) in the ravindu toyota godown.
I had gone to get mud flaps fitted on the Camry.
The mechanic told me that this supra had transmission problems and was in there for over 6 months.
Maybe he purchased this supra(im about 60% sure about this) and repaired it in his workshop and "revamped" it
