Launched simultaneously in B'lore & Pune today. 69.84 Lakhs, & 64.50 lakhs ex-showroom, here in Bangalore. Only the diesel version's on offer.

Well, i'm having the same problem with attachments, as Preetam...

The car is the GL350 CDI.

@Preetam: That is a truly horrendous colour to paint a car. I don't think even a Mini could have looked good in that.

@Shamik : I dont know whats with these company guys. It was a small promo run. 2 Polos were there too. They were in white. The colour scheme reminds me of the FIAT India Drive somehow.
I have spotted this many a times but could never snap it as I was always in a bus. Today got it luckily.

Its not a new addition, but surely not something that you'll not like to see!

Guys that is not a color scheme on the VW bug. Its protective covering that they put on the car during shipping.

Yeah it sure looked something like that only. Closely resembles double sided sticking tape that we use day to day. Look at the rear bumpers, and it can be easily made out.

I was about to say that it was sticking tape or something, but why would they put sticking tape on a promotional vehicle that is aiming to sell only because of its looks? Fails me!

As e92335 has put it, maybe the car has just been shipped.
It may not be a promo vehicle. In that case it should have transfer plates which it does not have. Lots of confusion. Experts in tech stuff, please shed some light.

That is a protective plastic covering.It is done i guess the protect the paint.Even the side view mirrors are covered.

Car was spotted in Bellary, sporting MH Registration.

That looks so huge. Looks more like a ship to me .
Would love to be sitting in the back seat of the RR over that speed breaker.
