Nope its a customer car .
I'm guessing its on carnet since its LHD but the owner's friends say otherwise.

This is very much a customer car, not a Ferrari India Demo Car. Since this 488 GTB is a LHD, it is most likely that it is here on Carnet.

Also, it is not impossible to import a LHD in India. Mr. Ratan Tata has been driving a LHD California since last so many years. Many of his other cars are LHD as well. So if you have the money to splurge, I am sure there will be multiple ways to get anything and everything you want.

I also saw it yesterday. Infact saw you clicking pictures as well
Was surprised as to how a LHD Ferrari made it to India without being on Carnet. Discussed with a few other Bhpians and one of them suggested that LHD ones may have lesser waiting and hence the owner decided to import one. LHD cars can be registered albeit by paying huge penalties. Maybe the owner didn't mind paying the extra dough.

A red LHD 488 has been spotted in Kerala too and heard that it's on carnet from UAE. Any idea if this is the same one?

I think its the same car which was imported through the Cochin port and was spotted there during the customs clearance.

I saw this beautiful, pristine white Porsche Macan today on Residency Road. He turned on to Brigade Road/ Catholic Club and buzzed off down Castle Street near Vellara Junction.

Saw this grey Porsche 911 Carrera at a petrol pump today. Looks and sounds stunning with the AeroKit, Turbo II rims, Martini decals and the Armytrix pipes!
The owner was a kind chap who gave my 10 year old brother a short spin in the car while he was gawking at it. 👍🏻

Here's a picture shared by the owner of his garage. Couldn't help but share it out here.
The cars in the picture are ::
Ferrari 458 Italia with Innotech catless exhausts
Ferrari 458 Spider with Novitec Rosso engine kit and incolnel exhaust. Sounds exactly like a bloody F1 car!
Porsche 911 turbo S with Capristo exhausts and TechArt engine kit
Ferrari 488GTB with a bespoke exterior kit by Novitec and Capristo along with a Novitec engine kit and exhaust kicking out 780hp
Lamborghini Huracan with FI Exhausts, ADV1 wheels and a Novitec wing

Now how often do you see such tastefully done up cars all under one roof?! Insane is the word.
And oh, the 488 and the turbo S happen to be the two fastest supercars in the country!

Fabulous collection! I noticed that the work on the 488 is finally done. Cant wait to see videos of the end result.

There are some faster cars up in Mumbai aren't there? GS's 1000 BHP twin turbo Gallardo. I know Nissan GTR cant be called a supercar but there are some that spit out 800 to 1000 BHP also?!

Would be great to see them all line up on drag strip/circuit and actually compete.

From what I've been told, those two cars are still slower than this 488. Using the word slow in the previous sentence is sacrilege though
Also, both the cars, that is the 1000hp Gallardo and the 1200hp GT-R are barely driven as opposed to the 488 which is whipped every second day. That GT-R also has a chronic gear box problem has been off the road for long. And I also heard that the R8 V10 Plus beat that GT-R at one of the drags. Is that true?

Checked out the owners instagram page and saw the video of the 488"xx". That is some serious performance. Owner's read-out says 100-200km in 4.1 seconds and has quoted some of the performance figures of the hypercars which are slower.
