Here are some interesting cars, spotted over the last week.

The 991.2 Carrera was a real surprise! The new turbo motor has been under some sharp criticism by purists, citing that the high pitched wail of the naturally aspirated flat-six has been compromised. After getting to hear it in person, I must say that it actually sounds pretty good, especially at low revs where it sounds closer to the original air-cooled flat-sixes of yore. The centrally-off-set (optional sports exhaust) pipes are also a nod to the classic 911s.

First Huracan Plus in the city. Red is a bit boring, but works I guess. Black interiors, with the B&O system. 2.55+ ex showroom.

Was at Sundaram Motors on Kasturba Road last evening to take delivery of my new car. I must say that the showroom is really well stocked. They had pretty much all the cars displayed inside or parked outside at their bay.

It was great seeing the AMG GTS, love this shade of black. The other cars spotted were the C63 AMG S, GL63 AMG, GLA AMG, G63 AMG. The blue XK-RS was parked in the used car section. Had only 8200km on the odo. The owner had apparently exchanged it for a AMG GT-S.

The black GTS will be delivered soon to an existing AMG customer. And yep, the AMG Performance Center is a treat!

Is the AMG GT-S going to a kerala family (probably based in Bangalore?). I saw a couple guys that were almost doing some confirmations on the vehicle.

The lady at the used car centre didn't seem to have much knowledge but there was a price display with some bare information and it quoted a EMI of 85,000/- and I would assume it is for 7 years with maybe a down payment of 50,00,000?

She is in prime shape but I only did get to peek through the window and saw the exterior condition. Still gleams under those showroom spot lights.

The GTS is going to a gentleman who drives a S 63 Coupé and a Bentley CGT Speed AFAIK. Not sure if he's a Malayali or not but he's based in BLR. Infact, lives a few kms off my place.
And ₹50lac down payment with an EMI of ₹85k comes up to about ₹1.2cr which is ridiculous although the car is in top nick!

Also, on a side note, a brand new white BMW i8 got delivered today in the city.

Sir if we decode the HS Code it talks about Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers or other instruments to measure Ionizing radiation like Alpha, Beta, Gamma, X ray or Gamma rays.

Nowhere close to Cars anyway. This looks like a Mass spectrometer to measure chemical composition of materials. I think this was named after another physician by the same name as the famed Car manufacturer.

The closest internet search referred to "Calibration of Particle Instruments in Space Physics"

This would be slightly OT though.
