It would be a great help if anyone can point me in the right direction about where I can get aftermarkets like sliders, screen, exhaust, etc.
Also, I could use a new lid and new riding gear. Any help will be great.

Thanks guys

Congos on the booking. For aftermarket goods you can check performance racing store. They have some goods for the 2012 n650. If you are ok with international shipping, ninja650shop.com is always there with everything available for the 650. Riding gear is something you have to choose. You have a huge choice. If you want them in india, dsg, cramster are good tried n tested options. Checkout their websites for options.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will definitely check out the websites. Let's hope they can deliver things to Jaipur easily. One more thing I was wondering is what will be the appropriate run-in mileage for the bike.

Thanks

Year by year indian motorbiking scene started improving and all the big players started appearing in india and the most interesting one for me was kawasaki.
Lucky you . I am happy that you have this lovely machine. Its a fantastic bike.

I wanted to ask you about the handle bars. I am a fan of clip-on. Personally I haven't got a chance to ride the N650, so are the handle bars low and sporty like the N250 ?

800 kms first break in and 1600 for the break in. For the first 800 kms, stick to 4k rpm and the next 800 kms stick to 6k rpm. Thats what the manual suggests. Just like the ninja 250. Me on the other hand am a bug follower of moto man's break in technique. It has given pretty good results on my previous bikes.

Handle bars are upright. They are very comfortable for touring. Trust me. I am a clip on fan too. But after riding the 659, bars make more sense to me unless im going to a track. U anyways have the option of swapping the stock bar to clipons. They cost a lil over 10 grand.

Hi Aashir,
Congratulations. Always exciting awaiting a new bike!
Performance Racing store in Mumbai for most of your needs. Well stocked.
Sliders :- R&G NO CUT TYPE
Screen :- Anything but ZERO GRAVITY DB. Quality is poor and will induce buzz. Actually stock screen is very good and looks the part too.
Exhaust :- Ride for a while before you spend serious money on a full system. I would not spend too much on a twin as in my opinion the benefits are seriously limited. The 2012 sounds better & bigger than the 2011 in any case. In case you still want to go ahead then the Akra. In fact if you ever really tour on the bike you will bless the Kawi team for the exhaust note!

Bike is good & hassle free
Rgds

I got some new gear finally.

Double bubble windscreen.
R&G crash protectors.
AGV Sport jacket
AGV gloves
HJC RPHA10 helmet.

The bike has done only 300 kms till now. It's too hot in Jaipur to go for a ride regularly. Lets hope I get time and Sonera good weather to ride more often.

Cheers.

Congrats! They look good. Did you install the double bubble screen in the highest position?

Aashir, tried to pm you but it was giving an error. Maybe your pm facility is not active yet or you've blocked it. Whatsapp me on 08008655995. Need to get some info from you :-)

So the goblin went for a 700+ kms ride. How was it? Amazingly good. Here are some pics for you all.

Ram, you have got some serious guts to attempt such a speed on two wheels.
Even in a car I've not been even close to your speed. I can just leave it to imagination how it would be at the two-ton mark, that too on two wheels.

Are you going to post more pics of the tour? Cuz if yes,I'm uber eager for them As always your bike looks impeccable.

Nice photos. How was the 250 when it came to catching up with the 650?
Can you also post the cost of the accessories etc.
