The Roma was indeed a surprise though. There was just one road leading to the village it was parked in, and that road looked like this so I was absolutely not hoping to find a Ferrari parked in there.

Well the Scorpion Trail II is a pretty competent alternative, but I vouch for the ability of the Tourance Nxt. For road riding, the Tourance Nxt is absolutely amazing and is the one to opt for.

I did a short monsoon ride earlier today with a friend, and the Scorpion Trail II on the Tiger performed pretty well in the wet conditions. That said, I would still rate the Metzeler Tourance Nxt a wee bit higher when it comes to sticking onto wet tarmac.

The favourite time of the year is here - winters !

Some clicks from a short solo ride to Sirsa from Delhi yesterday. The morning fog and low visibility till almost 11 AM made the progress extremely slow but the return leg was fun. With the onset of winter and biting winds hitting you left, right and centre, riding conditions are difficult but pretty rewarding for someone who hates summers.

The last ride of the year 2023 was an early morning breakfast meet with the fellow bhpians RohanDheman on his S1000RR and Rachit.K.Dogra on his R1.

The S1000RR is that ultimate dream but the R1 is so achingly beautiful that it has all my heart.

Yes the deer was a pleasant surprise.

Looks like it sneaked out from the neighbouring Sariska Tiger Reserve inside Alwar town. Going by the reaction of locals, it seemed that such sightings are pretty common as I was probably the only one who was excited on seeing a sambar loitering around the streets.

Bagheera shall soon be completing 6 years of ownership and it was about time for a mid-life refurbishment !

The original shine of the paint had worn out over the period of usage and I was contemplating getting a ceramic coating done to get that shine back. So the motorcycle was handed over to Rachit at Ceramic Pro MG Road New Delhi last Friday for a Ceramic Pro Gold Package, which is essentially a 9H Ceramic coating package.

I also got a new pair of Barkbusters VPS hand guards to replace the ageing Barkbusters Storm hand guards that were installed since the first day of ownership of the motorcycle. The Barkbusters VPS hand guards were purchased from Riderz Planet, Ghitorni, New Delhi.

Rachit was kind enough to include a ceramic coating on my helmet as part of the package. The Arai XD4 looks and feels as good as new now.







The motorcycle looks like it just aged backwards. The shine and gloss makes it look like it just rolled off the showroom floors recently. Four days of effort by the good lads at Ceramic Pro deserves a thumbs up. I am very happy with the final outcome. Money well spent for sure !

6 years, 34000 kms and countless smiles

It has been such a pleasurable and blissful journey with the big feline over the past 6 years - explored such beautiful places, met so many wonderful people and have made tons of memories together. Hope to keep the flame alive in the coming years and make a lot more memories exploring more pockets and corners of the country.
