More to follow: tragedy, more tragedy, exultation, triumph, a surprise Daytona? and finally - the Fireblade.

Congratulations BoltThrower for 'Double Dhamaal'. Loved reading your thought process and decision making to get 2 awesome bikes in garage. I vaguely remember your thread/post on the CBR650F in early 2018 I suppose. I too was keen on CBR during that time but it didn't materialized.

Great to see someone enjoying their adv and supersports for the intended purpose. Some lovely pics there of Tusker and Blade.

Happy riding!

Quick service updates on both the bikes -

Changed all 3 brake pads on the Fireblade. Motousher delivered the order in 2 days - fully sintered EBC pads for 11,130/- Installed them at my FNG who charged me 500/- for their troubles.

Got the Tiger serviced at Pune Triumph. Odo reading was at 95000. Regular servicing (oil change, oil filter replace etc.) cost 8400/- labour and parts included.

fork oil change + clutch bleeding cost 2700/- labour and parts included.

Rear brake pad replacement cost 4200/- labour and parts included.

I noticed some cracks so changing Tusker's front tyre as well. I've been running Metzeler Tourance Next both front and rear (clocked 14k kms on the front, 8k kms on the rear as of 3rd Jul 2023). As replacement, got a Metzeler Tourance Next2 of same size - 120/70 R19 for 17500/- delivered at home.

Having done all this kharcha, it is now time to start skipping meals. Why spend on lunch when you can just open your visor and eat bugs?
