hi guys!
this past week has been alot of excitement to me.i was waiting for THE day.The Harley founder's ride that happened in Delhi on 30.082009.
A historical ride in the best clean big roads of Delhi.

THE HARLEY-DAVIDSON FOUNDER'S RIDE ITINEARY

9:00 Matt leavatich,C.O.O Harley-Davidson, and the harley Davidson team greet Founder Riders at Magique over breakfast.

9:30 Gear up and Founders' Ride briefing

10:00 Deapart Magique with escort,followed by support vehicles,for India Gate Via Lutyens Delhi.

10:30 India Gate photo opportunity with press,Founder Riders and senior Harley-Davidson executives.

11:00 Ride back to Magique

11:30 Beers and chillers,brunch and BBQ
Live music by Soulmate

12:30 Address by Matt Levatich

12:45 Brunch continues

I am uploading the pictures from my phone.so can upload only 2 at a time.these are the pictures of the bikes that are going to be launched.these are pictures on 29.08.09.lots of pictures to be uploaded including the invite & the ride.also a few WLA's,i think this one was a 1948 year bike,not sure.

What are plans for Harley Line up in India? As in what price range should one be looking at? Dealerships? I heard only Delhi to start with. Is that true?

As of now they have not discussed the price.but i think there entry model the 883cc hugger wil be less than or close to 10 lakhs.they are looking for dealerships across all the metro cities,they also are looking for cities like bangalore,ahemdabad & hyderabad.

the entry level bikes are too good.very practical bikes.if these are priced right,harley wil take the market away.

Can anybody assist with information if already released on How is HD going about appointing dealerships in the country? Any contacts oe email id that any BHPians know about that can be contacted at HD.. will be a big help.
