Relax guys. We all know that price is a sensitive issue, especially when it comes to imports, so just let him enjoy his new toy.

Well congrats man for achiving one of the dream bikes of many people ,,, your a lucky guy. Hey how much u got it for.. and is it straight way imported or what coz the details of bike gives a bit of question in my mind when u say
"its a brand new 2003 R1 with 0KM on ODo"

ha ha this must be though one to control,, with that power between your legs ahhh but buddy do always remember\

"With great power comes great responsibility"

and that sortta increases in INDIA coz if something happnes it costs a booooom

well one more question how fast can u go before crossing the 6K on RPM have u tried.

I personally agree with you about 'breaking in' the bike but 3 of my friends who bought brand new SBKs within the last month don't.
This includes a busa & 2 1000RRs.
They believe that modern SBKs do not need any breaking in as they're tested enough in the factories.
In fact just last Sunday we went for a ride and all 3 of them were ripping the bikes.

Just a thought . . . . .
If it is a 2003 model, and has 0km on the odo, it means that it has been stationary for 2 years or probably more.
Now, wouldn't that have had an adverse effect on the engine & / or other parts ?

Guys thnks for your compliments.

Yes this is geniune zero kms 2003, i personaly checked it and got it checked from few, agreed its never been on road. Condition of the bike was intact cause it was never started and have not been filled with any oil.

Well about the power band i was not able to cross 5K mark yet, may be i am not pushing, but i am able to reach 130-140kmph speeds in that RPM. Bike is awesome. Would definitly make it to the next BLR G2G.

price please do not ask.

Dear Nitroxx

You are completly wrong. this bike is not refurbished or such, bike was imported in begining of 2004 and was not on the road till i picked it up.

hot ride man..i also kniw htis importer in mumbai called farhan who tells me how he ca nget "new" 2004 and 2003 bikes....these he tells me r all frisked away from the crates on import even before inspection and hidden in garages. and the yr claimed as stolen, that ofcourse insurance will pay....this is a very lucrative business going on...it is a better option than buying it brand new...u pay less and get mostly the same stuff....my buddy i blore recently brought a 2004 r1 the same way....price 4.6 lac. umbelieveble huh....yup bikes in manipal now..!
