Poll : Which SUV under 25L

Which SUV would you buy under 25L and why ?

Safari has great character but has niggles. Endy is a great looker and reliable enough but rear seats are pathetic. Tucson is simply overpriced. CRV is a great machine but can't accommodate more than five. Pajero has almost no resale value. Grand Vitara holds great promise but again a 5 seater petrol.

IMHO , someone with a budget of 25 lakhs may not look at many of the options given here. theres just too much diversity in this list in terms of price and features to compare them in a single poll.....

but nevertheless this list has brought out the fact that there is no good all rounder available even at this price bracket.

anyway my money would be on the new CRV

You could have also put Bolero in the poll as thats all under 25 Lakhs. Tavera, Rhino are all other strong contendors in this poll... Caz just caz someone has the budget to buy a CRV doesnt mean he cant consider Tavera, maybe he can buy two Tavera's and use the extra space...

You can't compare a Scorpio to Pajero or crv.

I should have clarified this in my initial post. The reason why I have listed a wide range of choices is as follows.

This poll is not about which one is the best. This poll is about which one would you buy. For example, I could be living in a small town where there is no Honda service center. So even though I can afford to buy a CRV, I wouldn't.
Another example, even though one could afford Pajero , would anyone buy it considering its resale value is quite bad.

So, it is not about comparing Scorpio's abilities to a Pajero. It is simply about poeple's choice of SUV based on their requirements.

I like the Pajero just because of it's tested and tried history.
It is actually a good vehicle with a bit of old image/character attached.

If one doesn't need much of a status symbol and wants a very capable offroading SUV, then this is the one!

I think half of these choices are not even SUVs and honestly keeping a price of under 25 lacks you hardly get an Suv here cause all the real Suvs of the world are missing here ,only pajero can be considered some thing which can do some serious off roading ,most of the others are SOFT ROADERS

What about the Nissan X-Trail ? And yes , are you looking to buy a SUV or its just a poll to gauge what we like ? Just asking.

I would go for the New CRV , followed by the X-Trail and Hyundai Tuscon

Missed X-Trail. Would it be possible to add it to the poll ?

This is just a poll to gauge what everyone likes.

I am looking to buy one as well and waiting for new Endy. If I like that, I will go for it.

Done - Xtrail added.

I presume you mean the old Pajero since the new Pajero (Montero) will not fit in the 25 lac budget. That said, I would still pick the old Pajero over the other options as it is a true-offroader and has a fantastic depth of engineering.

GTO,

Thanks for adding Xtrail. Yes, I meant the old Pajero. Like you mentioned, Montero is way too expensive for 25L
