Chevrolet Captiva or Ford Endeavor - Quick Decision! EDIT - its the Ford Endeavor 3.0

Dad just called me and told me to chose between the two, within an hour.

Will be for my personal use, mostly for city usage, around 60-100 Km daily.

I prefer the joy and the feel of driving over everything . Suggestions?

I personally am tilting towards Captiva.

Captiva...if 2wd
Endy... if 4wd

I would pick the latter and also end up enjoying off road fun.
May I offer congratulations in advance?

with the limited info you have provided - i think Captiva it is

it should be able to go over most of the bad roads that you throw at it ( minus the hardcore off road trails )

its more comfortable ( front and rear seat comfort), rides far better ON ROAD

Get the Captiva if you are going to be self driving at all. The captiva has a more car-like drive in comparision. Although it does suffer from turbo lag, once the turbo does kick in it's pretty strong on the power delivery.
The endeavour maybe more spacious but those benifits are best experienced if the car is chauffer driven.

Captiva would be better option between the two. Also, you may want to check out the automatic variant in Captiva since you would be using it mostly in city. The automatic variant comes in 4WD, which would be good for your once in a while off roading experience

Its going to be selfdriven. I already currenly do own an endeavor, which i personally dont like at all. Still will be going and TDing the new endeavor and see if it is any different, will be tding the 3.0 out.

Ruled the CRV out cuz of 2 main reasons, i dont like the looks of it and it is petrol.

I Dont like the looks of Outlander either.

Will be leaving in about 10 mins to TD both the cars, BTW any suggestions in color ?

Black Captiva looks pretty neat. My suggestion would be Black Captiva even though its higher in maintenace with respect to the color / paint.

It should be Endy if you like to go for a occassional off road sessions and not to get stuck at a place where there is no roads.

If it is only for the city and highway then go for the Captiva.

If feel for drive is what you are looking for then my favorite GRV is the thing but its petrol its not in your choice of two and it is cheaper and right now barely available till new model is launched any day (last I heard shipment was in water) and it is more for some one who would want to have off road fun in comfort. 8-)
