Hyderabad Fiat Users meet

There is meet that is going to happen in Hyderabad for Fiat owner. Others are also welcome. Members from Paliousersgroup are also joining in.

If possible I'll try to get in a small workshop owner who deals with Fiats.

Date: 9th April, 2006
Location: KBR Park, Parking place opposite to Sony showroom (towards Jubilee check post from TDP office)
Time: 11AM.

Solomon and Naveen (Airfoil), please make sure you are there.

This was the best meet we had in Hyderabad and the first meet with more than 3 members. It was a great meet where people shared all their passion for Fiat and their grumble with each other. We met at KBR park and then moved to Barista cafe in Jubilee hills. It was a great sight seeing so many Fiat going in a convoy. When the cars were pulling in to Barista parking, the security guards were standstill for few mins.

The panorama pictures look nice. Looks like a good meet. Do you fiat owners have some inside info on Fiat's present and future plans? I read on PUG that after the small car excise norms, Fiat is working on reducing the length of the Grande Punto so it falls in the newer excise bracket. Is that confirmed?

Amit: We don't have any inside information from Fiat about their plans. I don't think that the size of the car matters for small car excise norm. It's the engine size. < 1200 CC petrol and < 1500 CC in Diesel fall in to small car category. Correct me if i am wrong.
