We Have been planning a drive this sunday 20th May 2012 to lonavala. This is last minute but the plan also cropped up last minute. There's a group of people on a blackberry group who have also confirmed. If any of you'll would like to join us you are most welcome.

Please! No suggestions to change locations.

Date : 20th May 2012.
Drive : From Mumbai (Bandra talao) to Lonavala via expressway. Breakfast at kamats and back.
Time : Provisional time line - 7am meet up at Bandra talao. 730am at Palm Beach road.
People along the way between these two stops can meet at either.

Sounds like a good plan. I am traveling to Pune on Saturday; so can't make it. I believe you meant Kamats at Khandala? That's where we always stop by for breakfast.

that's a little late Dan.. need to start early so that we can miss the afternoon heat

Following is the plan
since there would be people joining in from all over Mumbai

- Meet up at 6:00am under the bridge at the Palm Beach Road Start
- 6:30am leave from there toward the expressway
- take a halt at the first Food Plaza for any refreshments (Breakfast) & any refueling
- reach tiger falls point in Lonavala and line up for a photo shoot
- then head for Sunny Da Dhaba for Lunch...
- head back home

I think we should not stop at the food plaza as that will take away a lot of time. We can have breakfast in Lonavala itself (just 15mins ahead)

I suggest that the meeting point on palm beach road should be at the petrol pump where everyone can refuel if required.

that can be done... as of now we go with this plan
there will be few who will be delayed as we know from many of the past drives
so i had taken that under consideration...

this is planA

if we get delayed then we go to planB

but as of now we follow this

The time which swapnil has posted sounds perfect. I would also suggest you'll take the old road while going so we bike guys can have company as well and return via the e-way. Just a suggestion.

Try and get cars since you'll own them. Don't make them masterpieces in the garage.

Dan my Punto is too fast for u to keep up anyway I'll be riding my new KTM DUKE hopefully you should be able to keep up with me this time around
