Most likely I am getting my kid(s) along. May be better half would also join.

Think about it!

Looks like powers to be really don't want me attend this one. I am going to sobo on saturday for some shopping spree.
Now do I have it in me to do it 2 days in a row?? That's the Big question we will answer in next 2 days. :)

yes Sir, absolutely no issues. I am getting my kid(s) along, may be even my wife. Same with Jignesh.

Sirjee,

It will hardly take any time or toll on yourself being a Sunday morning with no traffic. If you do not want to drive you can always come along with someone else from Thane.

Sunday 7th July meet plan:

Quote:

...North Mumbai folks meet at Powai on Sunday 7th July ..let's say 9:30-10am. Start toward south-mumbai through Powai-Vikhroli-Chembur/Wadala-Easterrn Freeway - VT.

From there let's drive to queen's neckalce. May be NCPA/Trident area. Let's assume that we reach there by 11am. Members from South-Mumbai can directly join us there and we can have a bigger meet there. Have fun for another hour or so and then go for a brunch at a decent place nearby OR drive back to Powai for lunch. 1 pm we can be back to Powai. Brunch/lunch plan can be optional.

Sanjay, as said I have to excuse myself, though I would so much love this drive :) which has been on my radar since long once it opened and that too with the whole group. Have got meeting planned since long and also my drive is being nursed at the A.S.S. for the wounds of Ladakh and I would rather make the drive in it only. So carry on this time, I will join in the next meet with my drive back with me by then.

I will most certainly come directly to Nariman Point or any decided meeting point in SoBo as that'll be more convenient. This will give me a few extra winks on Sunday morning after a long day on Saturday in the offroading event.

I have a family function but I'm not sure whether it's on Saturday or Sunday.

If it's on Sat then I'll surely come on Sunday for the meet.

I'm in, with family. But keep me tentative for the time being.

^^ Aha!
I'm keen to join, but contrary to a lot of people's preferences - any chance we can do this early morning (Yes I'm a morning person) :D

Count me in for part of it - I'm not sure I would be able to spare the better half of the morning (& afternoon - these meets never get over in the planned time).

WOW. You guys are going to come to NCPA. It will be great.

I will PM my cell number to SDP. Please call me. I would also like to receive a call when you guys are near NCPA so I can get out of my house to come and meet you guys.

I would also like to keep my presence tentative because I may be going out but it is still not fixed so I would love to join you guys.

Hello Sa_Kiran,

Good to know you are coming with family (though tentative). It will be good if couple of ladies are present. They can mingle within themselves.

Thanks,

If your talking of Mahindra Great Escape..it gets over after lunch on Saturday and then plenty of time to rest later in the day. The event is not taxing to man or machine. Hopefully i shall see you on Saturday at the event in my Thar (two seater with rollcage easiest way to recognise).

Yes Abhishek,

I will be at the Mahindra Great Escape with a fellow BHPian - Nitin_80 in his Mahindra Thar. More than the mud slush we are afraid that we don't get stuck in traffic due to the maddening rush which makes it's way to Lonavala in this season. Will definitely look forward to meeting you and seeing your Thar after the Audi S4 (Cafe Mondegar).
