The biggest event in the Auto industry for India will be the 2014 Auto Expo from the 7th to 11th oh February in Noida. A Mecca of sorts for all us Auto aficionados.

Not only the North India members but possibly members from all over India will come to see this event. And also I am hoping the Mod team from the North and those in other parts will make it.

What say we have the Big Daddy(Baap) of all meets. I will leave everyone to decide a mutually accepted date and we can formulate a plan of action as well.
Every one who has plans to e to Delhi in the above dates, please chip in your views.

This will be my first T-BHP meet.
I plan to visit on the 8th (Saturday) and if possible on the 9th (Sunday) as well.

Will reach from Chennai to Delhi airport by 9.00am.
We can carpool from airport to the expo.
Pls let me know if anybody is having similar plans.
Also, my return flight is at 7.00pm. So got to start by 5.00 pm atleast based on the traffic experience that day.

Great idea. If I happen to be home in Chandigarh will try to visit autoexpo and same time attend the Team Bhp meet. It will be my first meet.

This plan is to see the final Vehicles and not the Supplier proposals.
Especially on 8th Feb'14.

I'll be attending the expo too, but with some non-BHPian friends tagging along. I'd love to stop by and say a quick hi if BHPians are meeting up.

What date are we planning to meet and at what time?? I am not attending the expo on Sunday (9th Feb), just to avoid the chaotic crowds. I'll be there on 7th, 8th and maybe 10th.

I'm planning to start from Bangalore on 7th morning and take a flight on 8th evening to Bangalore. Anyone traveling from here? I want to attend the first day in the afternoon session (read lesser crowd) and if I happen to miss some important things, will be there again on Saturday, else might just take a tour of Delhi.

Dumb question, but how to recognize fellow BHPians there? :P

Iam visiting expo during business hours on 7th. But, what will be the outcome (agenda) of this meet? Most would be coming via metro or taxi. Further, there is no pavilion reserved for BHPians (like autocar, etc).
At best what we can do is "Sit on a Dharna" (the new craze in delhi-AAP effect) to make automakers accept our demands
Demands like launching a particular variant available internationally, or tweaking the looks of a model or bringing in a high performance engine, etc

Sorry but I cannot attend the expo on Saturday. I will be visiting on Sunday.
Lets see how many people can make it on Sunday
