Dear All,

As they say, all good things do come to an end.
And now, the time has come, to say goodbye to 2014 in style with a mega Delhi NCR drive cum brunch meet which has been proposed for Sunday, December 21 2014 based on interaction and feedback from many members.

Some of the proposed venues can be:

• Gathering at Rajpath, photo session, drive to "Its 9", chanakyapuri, brunch, followed by a drive till CP.
• Biker's cafe, vasant kunj
• Murthal (?)
• Any good outlet at New friend's colony
• Sector 29, Gurgaon
• Noida-greater noida-yamuna expressway drive followed by a breakfast at sector 18 with a shoot

Any other suggestions are welcome.

So, lets start the same, and make it big!

I am in. Though I'ld like a long drive outside the city, halt somewhere for a long photo-shoot and grab a bite.... Some place out of the hustle bustle of the city life, some place less traveled but nice and scenic.. Hope there's some place like that around here, new here so I'ld have no idea!!

21st in any case is too close to the holidays with quite a few of us having travel plans that are scheduled to start around that date and would be busy on the weekend of 20/21 with lots of last minute stuff to sort out.

I believe it will be prudent to prepone the meet by a week and hold it on the 14th December. This will definitely enable a larger attendance.

I too would be able to join in case we are able to pre-pone by a week, else there's always next time..

Venue: How about Neemrana? Murthal is way too over-hyped (that's just my personal opinion).

Is this meet happening? Or will it be a dud? Looking at the response it doesn't look like it is going to take place. Are the Delhi members not interested for a meet at all? At least that it what it looks like looking at the response!

As already said by @khoj that 21st will be too near to the holidays, therefore isn't it better if we postpone the meet to a Sunday in the new year.

IMO that will be more convenient for the members who want to attend but are not able to do so due to prior commitments/plans.

We were pretty interested for the meet and planned it accordingly. The participation was however low. We have had pretty good turnouts for the last few meets!

Before the lousy summers start killing us slowly lets try and meet sometime in March, maybe watch world cup finals together. Any suggestions on possible venues?

Any Delhi NCR meets happening/planned/in-the-works?

Being a recent member of the community, I am eager to meet fellow petrolheads in person.

Looks like this meet never happened. I too would like to have joined in. The last meet we had in Delhi was long back in September 2014. It was great fun though.

Can we try to have a meet in a few weeks, say end of April? That should give people ample time?

I missed out on the Sep-2014 meet, i guess no meet happened after that. As stated above by mandywanders end of April seems good as it give enough time to plan. Being a new member i was hoping to meet other members.
