Satiated, folks were free to do as they wished. Some went for a country boat ride  Mohan's exercycle ~ unconventional  Avinash went conventional  Soon it was time for tea  Apparently there was some unfinished agenda which was carried forward to tonight's GD   Dinner teaser 1  Dinner teaser 2  Dinner teaser 3  The last supper  and a good night  to be cont'd..... |

| Re: Team-BHP Meet @ Paniely Poru: 21st - 23rd August, 2015 In continuation.... 23 Sunday Awoke from sound slumber, a quick shower, was ready and packed up for the return leg. Headed to the gazebo for one last time  It was cloudy so sunrise over the Periyar was denied  After breakfast and check out, the customary photo shoot at the resort   and on the way out  the approach to Coco lagoon, the lunch venue  Sylvan Coco lagoon  The pool  The pond  Post lunch photo op  Got back on the road again to Annur for the last sector on NH 209. It was uneventful until then. The drive up the Dimbum ghat and to Nijaguna Residency saw the second incident of SunnyBoi having a couple of close calls including a bumper damage. The first being Mohan's right ORVM clipped by a Swift cracking the mirror on the Kuthiran stretch. Dinner at Nijaguna Residency was one of rest and relaxation before the final run to Bangalore. Departed at 11 pm. Forty five minutes into the drive, a pig on a suicidal mission ran across and my car, fourth in the convoy, slammed into it at 100 kmph. Resultant damage was broken grill, rhs head light and bumper. Fortunately the car was driveable. Closer to Bangalore, at a wayside stall we stopped for tea and exchanged "byes". Mohan was kind enough to escort me to leave the car at Navnit Motors workshop and drop me home. You win some you lose some. The winner all the way was the drive, incidents notwithstanding. In conclusion, let me Thank you for the company, the overnighters we've been driving I say thank you for the drive, for coming along. Until the next drive.....sayonara.
