Why: The annual commemoration drive VI
When: 22/23 Jun ‘19
What: A rain challenge twisty drive to Kolli and back.
70 hairpin bends challenge beckons.

Just a change from the twisties of Ooty.
Other challenges: The weather not as cool as Ooty and rooms are bereft of airconditioning.

Its “hot” and happening.
Don’t say you weren’t forewarned :D

6 of the 7 rides so far are fantastic handlers. Good times, indeed :thumbs up. Have fun, all!

How challenging is this going to be on a Baleno CVT? I have never done these many hairpins before.

Should not be a problem. I don't think Baleno would have any drawbacks to tackle the hairpins. Just take one hairpin at a time :)

The problem is not the car. Car will climb up and come down without any fuss. If you are any sort of enthusiastic driver, your left leg and left arm will be screaming out for a manual gearbox lol:

I would love to attend this meet, however with a 0.8L Hyundai Eon, I'm not too sure if I should go ahead with this. Can anyone here comment on how difficult or easy it is to take those bends?

If these cars manage Spiti and related areas daily, why not! Only issue is when you will get there, not if!
